Review Policy

**11/15/11 - Mrs. Boswell's Book Bag is currently not accepting reviews.**

I read for my own personal enjoyment. This being said, my reviews are not analytical. My reviews consist of my own thoughts and feelings on the novel read and may be somewhat subjective. My reviews always reflect my honest feelings on a novel. If I do not like a book, I will give it a lower rating as well as a review entailing why I did not enjoy it. Please note, I will never degrade or disrespect an author/publicist in my reviews. Also, if I begin a book that I do not have the desire to complete, I reserve the right to not write a review about it. When I accept a novel for review, I do not guarantee that it will be read or reviewed. This will be at my discretion.

Reviews posted on my blog contain the following: cover art, publication details, synopsis of the novel, my personal thoughts about the book and a numbered rating.

I may also post full reviews or links to my reviews on Goodreads and/or Amazon.

If you are interested in having me review your book(s), please send your request to mrsboswellsbooks@gmail.com and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Please take into consideration the following before sending a request:

• I read and review only Young Adult fiction mainly in the following genres: paranormal, fantasy, dystopian, romance. A list of my current reviews can be found HERE.
• I typically accept only hard copies, be it in ARC or finished form. I am not accepting e-books for review at this time.
• If the novel is part of a series and I have not read the previously released novels, I ask that you please provide a copy of those along with the new release so that I can form a more effective review.
• I am interested in doing new and fun things on my blog. If you would like me to host a giveaway/contest, organize and interview or set up a guest post - please let me know!

Privacy Policy

Here, at Mrs. Boswell's Book Bag, personal information will only be collected for contest/giveaway purposes. Please do not leave any personal/private information in the comment sections, as I can not assure you that the other viewers of this blog will not take any of that information.

In any instance where I collect personal information, Google Forms will be used to protect your information. I will not sell your information to any third-party. The only other people your information would be shared with (if a prize is not coming directly from me) is the publisher/author/company who is mailing the prize directly to you. I only collect personal information to make the shipping process quicker (ie: So I do not need to hunt you down to figure out your full name and mailing address). This information will never be posted directly on my blog. None of your personal information will be stored by me. Your information will only be kept until you are contacted and the prize has been mailed, and then promptly deleted.


Mrs. Boswell's Book Bag has recently started using the Rafflecopter widget for contests. Some things are posted publicly on the widget, so please follow directions so as not to leave any personal information visible to others.

Furthermore, if you are under the age of 13 and win a contest on my site, your parents will need to be contacted to give approval for you to receive the prize. In which instance, they will need to provide your physical mailing address.

Also, once an item leaves my hands, I am not responsible for loss or damage of said item. Likewise, I am not responsible for the loss or damage of material shipping from a third-party source.
